Supporting Local Artists
Creativity belongs on the street, in the shop and in the community
Through our Saturday morning art and craft market initiative, Outside The Box provides local artists and creatives with a welcoming platform to showcase and sell their work in front of our New Farm shop.
This initiative gives emerging makers greater visibility, encourages customers to support handmade and locally created pieces, and brings more creative energy into the community. Each market morning becomes more than a shopping experience — it becomes a celebration of local talent, creativity, conversation and connection.

Outside The Box proudly supports diversity, inclusion and equality as part of who we are, not just what we say. Looking after community means looking beyond our own doors
Giving back is part of who we are. Outside The Box proudly supports Third Space through donations that help people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage and vulnerability across Brisbane.
We believe a strong local business should look beyond its own doors and contribute to a kinder, more compassionate city. Through our ongoing support and commitment to community care, we aim to make a meaningful difference while continuing to explore new ways to support local charities, community organisations and people who need it most.

We care deeply about our planet, our environment and the future we are leaving behind. For us, sustainability does not have to start with grand gestures — it begins with thoughtful everyday decisions that reduce waste, improve efficiency and help lower our environmental footprint.
At Outside The Box, we are taking practical steps by introducing digital receipts, offering digital gift cards and moving more of our systems online to reduce unnecessary paper use. Through these small but meaningful choices, we hope to continue growing as a more conscious, responsible and environmentally aware local business.
Animal Welfare & Pet Wellbeing
Kind choices for pets, people and every living being
At Outside The Box, our care for the community extends to the animals we love too. We are a pet-friendly creative hub, and pets are part of the warmth, joy and personality of our space — from pet portraits and playful pet accessories to thoughtful treats and products that celebrate the bond between people and their furry companions.
We are committed to making kinder choices wherever possible, including offering vegan leather alternatives, avoiding animal fur, and selecting more animal-conscious products for our retail range. We also support pet wellbeing through items such as human-grade beef dog treats and pet-friendly lifestyle products that are chosen with quality, care and love in mind.
