How to use

1. Unscrew the black nib section of the calligraphy pen and insert the ink cartridge, small opening end first.
2. Hold the pen firmly against a hard surface, such as a tabletop, and press down until the cartridge clicks into place. This means the nib has pierced the cartridge correctly.
3. Screw the nib back onto the pen and stand the pen upright for 1–2 minutes before use. Then gently press the nib onto scrap paper until the ink begins to flow. Your pen is now ready to use.

Care tips

• For best ink flow, hold the pen at a 30° to 45° angle to the paper.
• Clean nibs after each session and store them back in the box.
• After extended use, rinse the nib under lukewarm water and dry carefully with a soft cloth.
• Do not allow ink to dry on the nib, as this may affect ink flow. Once cleaned and dried, replace the cap securely.
